It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott Miles (Chicopee, Massachusetts), born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 1, 2023, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Gary Miles. He is survived by: his wife Alyson; his mother Sylveen; his brother Gary; his sister-in-law Dina Miles; his sister Tara; his brother-in-law Matt Schoolcraft; his nieces, Kayla, Emily and Samantha; his nephew Tyler; his siblings-in-law, George and Judy Czelusniak; his sister Shelly; his brother-in-law Brian Hazlett; his niece Georgia; his family, JP, Veronica, Kelly, Fitzy, Kristie, Steve, Pat, Andrea, Pedro, Sonya, Rose and Mike; and his daughter Phyllis Merry Miles.
Donations in Scott's name can be made to places close to his heart: Angell Memorial Medical Center which provided amazing care for Goat as she fiercely battled feline diabetes for years, Quincy Animal Shelter which brought laughter where there was sadness by introducing Phyllis Merry to her parents and Care Dimensions whose compassionate and people-focused approach should serve as a model for the rest of health care as they truly treat each person with professionalism, respect and kindness.
