He was predeceased by: his parents, Felice Contabile and Elisabetta Contabile (Pirro); his siblings, Luigi Contabile (Teresa), Nicola Contabile (Concetta), Giuseppe Contabile (Stella) and Maria Teresa Contabile (Francesco); and his brothers-in-law, Umberto Manno, Raffaele Ciccarelli and Tito Caruso.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa Contabile (Pisano); his sons, Giuseppe N. "Joe" Contabile of Chicopee, Antonio C. "Tony" Contabile of West Springfield and Vittorio S. "Vic" Contabile of Chicopee; and his sisters-in-law, Angelina Manno of Chicopee, Marianna Ciccarelli of New Rochelle, NY and Maria Caruso of Italy. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
His family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
