We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2020, at the age of 87, Ruth A. Boucher (Chicopee, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Simonds, Sr. and Anna Rose Simonds (Connor); her husband Thomas M. Boucher; her daughter Karen F. Hiller; and her siblings, Robert C. Simonds and Marion U. Fonfara.
She is survived by: her children, Michael J. Fonfara of Chicopee, Ellen M. Fonfara (Alan Garstka, MD) of Bedford, NH, Charlotte M. Hiller of South Hadley, Leslie P. Hiller of Amherst and Nancy J. Dufault (Eugene) of Hampden; her siblings, James T. Simonds Jr (Teresa) of Springfield, Francis X. Simonds (Dotty) of Hampden, Thomas L. Simonds (Linda) of Longmeadow and Margaret J. Mallalieu (Richard) of East Longmeadow; and her sister-in-law Mary Simonds of South Hadley. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
