It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Kurtz (Chicopee, Massachusetts), born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kurtz and Dorothy M. Kurtz (Guth); his brother Robert J. Kurtz; and his sisters-in-law, Sheila Kurtz and Lorraine Kurtz.
He is survived by: his daughter Hope Parish; his wife Diane Kurtz (Simard) of Ludlow; his children, Shawn M. Kurtz (Cristina) of Patchogue, NY, James D. Kurtz (Amy) of Ludlow and Cheryl J. Schipper (Derek) of Hanover, MA; his brother Alvin Kurtz of Holyoke; his grandchildren, Matthew, Mikayla, Ava, Emma, Ryan, Stella, Raymond, Connor and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Cayden and Steven; and his parents-in-law, Roger and Doris Simard of Ludlow.
