He was predeceased by: his sister Rebecca Hooker. He is survived by: his parents, Ronald H. Jr. LaPlante and Marilyn LaPlante (Slowik) of Chicopee; his sister Jessica L. Mitchell (Sean) of Monson; and his brother-in-law Edward Hooker of Enfield, CT. He is also survived by four nephews.
