He was predeceased by: his parents, Falcoln E. Barnes, Jr. and Shirley I. Fox (Day). He is survived by: his wife Nancy D. Barnes (Giguere); his children, Jason R. Barnes of Easthampton, Amanda R. Barnes (David Provost) of Chicopee and Katrina S. Barnes (Vincent P. Calvanese, Jr.) of South Hadley; his grandchildren, Hannah Provost, Shane Provost, Vincent Calvanese III and Liliana Calvanese; and his siblings, Kenneth Barnes (Marianne) of Homosossa, FL, Charles Barnes (Sandra) of Chicopee and Catherine Kagan of Leicester. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (13 Dale St, Chicopee, MA 01020). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sainte Rose de Lima Church (594 Grattan St, Chicopee, MA 01020).
