He was predeceased by: his parents, Euclid Viens and Beatrice Viens (Mongeau); his wife Margaret (Tarpinian); and his siblings, Roger, Ernest, Alfred, Rita, Gloria and Shirley.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Yargeau (Brian) of Ludlow, Ronald Viens, Paul Viens (Denise) of Chicopee and Gary Viens (Zina) of Holyoke; and his nieces and nephews, Connie Frutuoso of Chicopee, Claire Giblo, Joan Urbanski of Holyoke and Lucille Teague of New London. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a great grandchild.
