With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Sepulveda (Chicopee, Massachusetts), born in Waterbury, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2025 at the age of 56. He was predeceased by: his father Dionisio Nieves. He is survived by: his mother Heliodora Ruiz of Springfield; his son Derek Xavier Malave of Independence, Missouri; his siblings, Jose Sepulveda of Springfield, Luis Rodriguez of Southington, CT, Madeline Sepulveda of Puerto Rico, Lisandra Sepulveda (Hector Nieves) of Springfield and Wanda Nieves (David Blanchard) of Springfield; and his close friend Judy Williams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
