Richard D. Lavalley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard D. Lavalley of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Easthampton, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin LaValley and Muriel LaValley (Malouin); and his brothers, Arthur, Edward and Norman LaValley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen LaValley (Rice); his children, Donald R. LaValley (Nicky) of Chicopee, Brian E. LaValley (Michelle) of Chicopee and Mary Ellen Flemati (Marco) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Brian LaValley (Elizabeth), Kristen LaValley, Geoffrey Flemati, Alyssa Flemati, Daniel LaValley, Robert Megit, Robert Robles and Aleicia Gillum; his great grandchildren, Brian, Sophia, Carter and Aubrielle; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley LaValley of Chicopee and Nancy Rice of Kentucky. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends and extended family.
