With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Renée M. (Turgeon) Croteau of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 19, 2022 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucien J. "Shorty" Turgeon and Coszette R. Turgeon (Leonard); and her brother-in-law Edward Gauthier. She is survived by: her husband Donald L. Croteau; her sons, Christopher J. Croteau of Chicopee and Matthew D. Croteau of Chicopee; her sister Lisa C. Roy (John) of Ludlow; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Croteau (Ruth) of Chicopee, Doris Gauthier of Chicopee and Diane Samson (Paul) of Wilbraham. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Sister Caritas Cancer Center in C/O Mercy Medical Center, 271 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
