With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rene V. Fagnant (Chicopee, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 13, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfrid J. Fagnant and Eva M. Fagnant (Beaulieu); his siblings, Richard Fagnant, Claire Cadry (Sidney), Janet Shaw (Robert) and Doris Fagnant; and his brother-in-law Donald L. Goulet (Edna).

He is survived by: his wife Claire M. Fagnant (Goulet); his children, Diane M. Adams (Jim) of Fort Myers, FL, Suzanne C. Loughman of Hampton, VA, Raymond R. Fagnant (Suzanne) of East Granby, CT, Michelle M. Salsburg (Shannon) of Lincroft, NJ, Danielle A. Scavone (Dan) of North Haven, CT and Nicole M. Ryczek (Allen) of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Ryan Loughman, Kayla Loughman (David), Griffin Loughman, Colin Loughman (Marneisha), Eden Loughman, Christian, Matthew, James Fagnant, Anna, Brooks Salsburg, Jack and Henry Ryczek; his great grandchildren, Camilla Loughman, Nolan Loughman and Ava Loughman; and his sister Irene F. Gill (Springifeld). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.
