He was predeceased by: his parents, Napoleon A. Couture and Marguerite D. Couture (LaPlante); and his siblings, Roger Couture and Jacqueline Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline C. "Jackie" Couture (Brien); his children, CindyLee M. Laramee (Peter) of South Hadley and Brien A. Couture (Paula) of Wales; his grandchildren, Benjamin Laramee (Sarah), Noelle Conachen (Ryan), Brien A. Couture, Jr. and Miranda Couture; his great grandchildren, Lucy and Lee Conachen; his siblings, Barbara Slowick (Edward), Nancy Buckley (James), Paul Couture (Joanne), Roy Couture (Patricia), Ann Couture and Joan Moore (William); and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Couture and George Thompson.
His family requests that masks are required, and social distancing must be observed for his services.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Soldier's Home of Holyoke, 110 Cherry Street, Holyoke, MA 01040.
