With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Alice (Joly) Desrosiers of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Easthampton, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 8, 2020 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Jolly and Irene Jolly (Manseau); her siblings, Cecile Stedman of Chicopee and Norman Jolly of Easthampton; and her close friend Alice Houle.
She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Desrosiers; her children, David Desrosiers (Ginette) of Granby, Denise Lewis (Paul) of Charlton, Robert Desrosiers of Holyoke and Donald Desrosiers of Chicopee; her grandchildren, Tamara Jameson (William III), Claire Desrosiers of Granby, Adam Lewis (Ashleigh) of Holbrook, Ryan Lewis of Charlton, Harley Dougherty of Holyoke and Micah Elliott of Holyoke; her great grandchild William Jameson IV; her siblings, Therese Desmaris (John) of Easthampton and Roland Jolly of Easthampton; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Desrosiers (Lorraine) of Hadley and Lorraine Mainville of Florida. She is also survived by her many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Sainte Rose de Lima Church c/o 15 Chapel Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
