Surprenant of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelard D. "Dick" Surprenant and Angeline M. Surprenant (Chapdelaine); his brothers, James W. "Jim" Surprenant and John R. Surprenant; and his sister-in-law Muriel Hunter.

He is survived by: his wife Donna M. Surprenant (Leahy); his children, Daniel P. "Dan" Surprenant (Sarah) of Chicopee and Rebecca M. "Becky" Morin (Michael) of Chicopee; his grandsons, D. J., Andrew Surprenant, Jacob and Joshua Morin; his siblings, Denis H. Surprenant (Debbie) of Feeding Hills, Linda S. Garcia (Alberto "Beto" Garcia) of Annapolis, MD, Jeanne M. Mozdanowski (John Mozdanowski) of Feeding Hills and Diane M. Peters (Michael "Mike" Peters) of Feeding Hills; and his siblings-in-law, William Leahy (Louise) of Chicopee and Laura Scribner. He is also survived by his many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
