He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sypek and Frances Sypek (Oszust); his wife Doris J. Sypek (Rattelle); and his brothers, Edward, John and Frank.
He is survived by: his sons, Mitchell J. Sypek (Ellen) of Chicopee and David Sypek of New York; and his grandchildren, Craig Sypek (Christina), Meaghan Rodriguez (Nate), Jill Young, Kara Wood, Courtney Welch (Lenny) and Nicole Sypek. He is also survived by thirteen great granchildren.
