With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Elaine Stopa of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 8, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Stopa and Katherine Witek Stopa; her daughters, Christina Moriarty of Cambridge, MA and Sheila Pelczarski of Denver, CO; her granddaughter Julia Flannery; her grandson-in-law Francis Flannery; her great grandchild Connor Flannery of Holyoke, MA.; and her siblings, Irwin Stopa of Bradenton, FL, Stasia Bonavito of Holyoke, MA and Gladys Vassallo of Enfield, CT. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
