She was predeceased by: her husband Edward A. Kowal; and her brothers, Ted Soja and Michael Soja. She is survived by: her children, Michael Kowal of Chicopee, Frances E. Darcy (Dan) of Hershey, PA, John Kowal (Sophie) of Plattsburgh, NY and Frederick Kowal (Cheryl) of Warnerville, NY. She is also survived by grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
