We bid farewell to Mary Ellen Bennis (Chicopee, Massachusetts), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 24, 2025 at the age of 39. Mary Ellen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Mary Ellen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her father Joseph C. Bennis; her half-brother Joey Bennis; and her uncle Deacon Donald A. Bennis. She is survived by: her mother Jeanne E. Bennis (Muise) of Chicopee; her siblings, Michael Bennis of Chicopee and Sarah Volkman (Nick) of Granby; and her half-sister Linda Bennis Clark of Chicopee. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint Anne Church (30 College St, Chicopee, MA 01020).
