It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha V. Sanchez of Chicopee, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Martha departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Martha may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Martha leaves behind.
She is survived by: her parents, Isidoro Sanchez and Francisca Olvera of Springfield; her daughters, Destiny Mercado of Chicopee and Isabella Wilson of Chicopee; and her siblings, Rosa Sanchez (George) of Springfield, Jose Sanchez (Tiffany) of East Longmeadow and Ronny Sanchez (Elsie) of Chicopee.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center (1858 Allen St, Springfield, MA 01118). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
