He was predeceased by: his sister Carol Szulc. He is survived by: his wife Carole Balthazar (Baxendale) of Chicopee; his son Matthew Balthazar of South Carolina; and his siblings, Susan Lyas (Joseph) of Springfield and Gary Balthazar (Denise) of Groton, CT. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
