With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marion L Lortie of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Westfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2024 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Demers and Doris Demers (Hall); her husband Paul E. Lortie; her children, William L Lortie and Kathleen I. Lortie; her siblings, Doris Parent, Virginia Baillargeon, Elizabeth Zabik and Ernest Demers; her granddaughter Cherie Deschamps; and her sons-in-law, Donald Bessette and Daniel Peloquin.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Lortie of Sanford, Arlene Bessette of Chicopee, Carolyn Drost (Edward) of Chicopee and Joanne Peloquin of Chicopee; and her sister Janet Woods of Chicopee. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
