She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herbert Shorten and Martha Shorten; her close friend Salvatore Vanaria of Schuiate, MA.; her son John McCarthy (Andrea Galiatsos) of Chicopee, MA; her grandsons, John McCarthy Jr. of Lisbon, CT and Philip (Kimberly McCarthy); and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Trevor, Kayleigh and Emma McCarthy. She was also cherished by her family, friends and her dear friend.
