It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn M. Stopa-Smargie of Chicopee, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Anthony and Mary Grochmal (Ras); her former husband Walter S. Stopa; her husband Melie Smargie; her children, Walter Stopa, Thomas Stopa, Ronald Stopa of Chicopee and Carol A. Kosiorek (Robert) of Harwich; her grandchildren, Lisa Sebastyn, Michael Stopa, Kevin R. Kosiorek, Jeffrey K. Kosiorek, Nathan Stopa and Nicholas "Nick" Stopa; her great grandchildren, Jack Sebastyn, Scarlett Sebastyn, Michael Stopa of Jeffrey, Mason Kosiorek, Dean Kosiorek, Miles Kosiorek and Cameron Kosiorek; and her siblings, Vickie Fedo, Frank Grochmal, Caroline Danek, Stella Szenda, Josephine Bobek, Joseph Grochmal and Helen Szenda.
