He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger C. Fontaine of Chicopee and Jeanne F. Fontaine (Fleury); his wife Christine G. Fontaine (Messier); his children, Scott R. Fontaine of Chicopee and Taylor M. Fontaine of Chicopee; his stepchildren, Nina M. Leclerc (Daniel Lewandowski) of Ludlow and Wade E. Leclerc of West Springfield; his grandsons, Gabriel Alexandre Fontaine and Remy Lucas Fontaine; his siblings, Shirley J. Burton (Wayne) of Chicopee, Steven W. Fontaine (Paulo Aguiar) of Lilburn, GA and Kathy A. Cote (Richard) of Chicopee; his sister-in-law Diane Y. Perusse (Mark) of Chicopee; his pet Sophie; and his mother-in-law Marielle C. Messier (Poulin). He was also cherished by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family.
