The passing of Josephine Hillios of Chicopee, Massachusetts leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on February 27, 2025 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Banel and Helen Banel; her husband Melvin Hillios; and her grandson Timothy Hillios (Sarah Hillios). She is survived by: her daughters, Joann, Candice Siegenthaler (Michael Siegenthaler) and Tara Paquette (John Paquette, Jr.); her grandchildren, Adrianna, Caleb, Matthew Hillios (Dieu Nguyen), Anna Lydia, Mathias, Melvin, Madison, Alexa, Chase and Cameron; her siblings, Irene Liquori and Victor Banel; and her goddaughter Tina Kuras. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home (280 Springfield St, Chicopee, MA 01013). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location.
