He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Francis and Julia Martha Banas (Wytaniec); and his brother Raymond Banas. He is survived by: his wife Murielle Banas (Falardeau) of Latka Printing; his children, Paul Banas of Chicopee and Patricia Banas (Daniel Bailey) of Indian Orchard; and his grandchildren, Brad LaBonte-Banas, Allison Banas, Amelia Bailey and Danielle Bailey.
