He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloy Oquendo and Juanita Santana. He is survived by: his wife Myrna Oquendo; his children, Jose E. Oquendo, Daniel Oquendo, Joseph J. Oquendo, Maribel Oquendo, Migdalia Oquendo, Chela Oquendo, Evelyn Giwa, Oquendo Marrero and Taiena Marrero; and his siblings, Francisco Oquendo, Ferdinan Oquendo, Angel Oquendo, Eusebio Oquendo, Benigno Oquendo, Rosaura Oquendo, Virginia Oquendo, Migdalia Oquendo and Leticia Oquendo. He is also survived by many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, family and friends.
