It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Platanitis (Chicopee, Massachusetts), born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Platanitis and Angeline Platanitis (Zachariadis). He is survived by: his wife Martha Platanitis (Zunis) of Chicopee; his children, Marc Platanitis (Patti Niedzialik) of Ludlow and Tina Platanitis Eugenio (Vasco) of Ludlow; his brothers, Stephen Platanitis of Springfield, Paul Platanitis of Chicopee and George Platanitis of Wilbraham; and his grandchildren, Athena Eugenio and Alexis Eugenio.
