He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. and Bertha A. Benton (Stachowicz). He is survived by: his wife Jennie Benton (Starzyk); his brother-in-law Joseph J. Starzyk (Elizabeth); his nephews, Robert J. Starzyk (Cynthia) and Christopher D. Starzyk; and his godsons, Thaddeus Kubacki (Lillian), Jeffrey Petroski and Walter Piekarski.
