It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Francis Danehey of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 1, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Danehey and Breda Danehey (Scanlon); his wife Velma Danehey (Peters); his children, Vincent Danehey and Mary Danehey; and his siblings, Paul Danehey and Mary Paton.
He is survived by: his son James (Melissa) of Springfield. He is also survived by several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
