Jeannine Tourigny Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2024, at the age of 95, Jeannine Tourigny (Chicopee, Massachusetts), born in Trois-Rivières, Québec passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Jeannine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jeannine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Dionne and Arsena Dionne (Bonin); her husband Leo Tourigny; and her siblings, Gaston, Yvon Dionne, Florence Gosselin, Jeanne Dionne and Louise Champagne.

She is survived by: her sons, Daniel Tourigny of Belchertown and John Tourigny of Chicopee; her sister Francoise Martel of Canada; and her grandchildren, Steven and Diana.

A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St Rose de Lima Cemetery.
