Jeannette (Thibodeau) Roy Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2020, Jeannette (Thibodeau) Roy (Chicopee, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Thibodeau and Stella Thibodeau (Morency); her husband Alphonse "Al" Roy; and her son-in-law John A. Surette, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Arleen E. Merritt (James) of Elgin, IL, Jeanne C. Tassone (Salvatore) of Agawam and Lorraine C. Surette of Granby, MA; her grandchildren, Lisa Tassone (Breeanne Carroll), Anthony Tassone (Maria), Marc Tassone, Jeffrey Surette and Lee Surette; and her great grandchildren, Patrick, Brady, Salvatore, Nicolas and Dominic Tassone. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, friends and extended family.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, a private Committal Service will be held at Sainte Rose Cemetery in Chicopee with a Memorial Mass to be announced at a later date at Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee.
Her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Sainte Rose de Lima Church, c/o 15 Chapel Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
