With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanne (Harnois) Berneche of Chicopee, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 22, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Harnois and Cora M. Harnois (Croteau); her husband Leonard N. Berneche; her daughter Lizanne Berneche; her grandson Tyler J. Berneche; her daughter-in-law Connie F. Berneche (Bullock); and her brother George M. Harnois (Noella).
She is survived by: her children, Lenore M. Salacinski (Edward) of Chicopee, Leon N. Berneche (Regina) of Belchertown, Lloyd N. Berneche (Vivian) of Granby, Laurel A. Lafleur (Robert) of Belchertown and Lance N. Berneche (Lisa Verville) of Agawam; her grandchildren, Dr. Amanda Salacinski, Marisa Berneche (Lynn), Shaina Garvin (James), Neal Berneche (Rileigh Damon), Adam Lafleur (Jenn), Andrew Lafleur (Angie), Lizanne McCabe (Kevin), Evan Berneche (Carly), Eliza Berneche and Austin Berneche (Bree Blair); her great grandchildren, Lila, Chloe Salacinski, Tyler, Beatrice Berneche, Tessa, Carter Lafleur, Charlie, Bennett McCabe and Cooper Berneche; and her sisters, Lucille Pray (Harry) of Chicopee and Elaine Scott of Chicopee.
Her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Sainte Rose de Lima Church, c/o 15 Chapel Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
