With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Tunis (Chicopee, Massachusetts), born in Buchanan, Tennessee, who passed away on August 30, 2019 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Tunis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie M. Tunis (Sweatt) and Melvin Tunis; his granddaughter Jillian Marie Bajumpaa (Stevens); and his siblings, Robert Tunis and Patricia Morgan.
He is survived by: his children, Jo-Ann Stevens (Jeff), Donna Wiley (Glen), Glenn Tunis (Judi) and James Tunis; his grandchildren, Justin, Jason Tunis of Jordan Stevens, E. J, Wiley, Brian Deane, Kristy Konicki and Chris Bajumpaa; his great grandchildren, Colin, Keeley Dean, Katelyn and Kyle Konicki; and his siblings, Charles Tunis and Mary Roberts. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Jim's honor to The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
