He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tillotson and Rosanna Tillotson (Lee); his former wife Denise Tillotson (Lesieur); and his brother John Tillotson (Virginia). He is survived by: his wife Joan Tillotson (Cavanaugh); and his children, Katelyn, James, Hannah, Collen, Evan, Maggie, Oliver, Lilly and Davis.
