James R. Demers Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Demers Sr. of Chicopee, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 24, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred C. Demers and Dorothy C. Masse Demers (Ceyler); his son Wilfred C. "Wil" Demers; his son-in-law Bud Butler; and his brother Peter Demers.
He is survived by: his wife Diane L. Demers (Gravel); his children, Anne T. Robinson (Zaki), Karen Butler, James Demers, Jr. and Lynn Demers; his grandchildren, Michael, Makayla, Pamela, Jill, Christopher and Jeffrey; and his sisters, Donna (Philip) and Debbie. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in Jimmy's memory to the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, 565 Ashford Center Road, Ashford, CT 06278.
