He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Tillman and Ina Tillman (Schned). He is survived by: his daughters, Emily Torcato (Patrick) of Chicopee and Jennifer Dumont (Thomas) of Windsor, CT; his siblings, Lawrence Tillman (Ronnie) of Springfield and Roselle Baxter (Frederic) of Springfield; his grandsons, Thomas Patrick Torcato and James Joel Torcato; the mother of his children Diane F. Tillman of Chicopee; and his nieces, Amy Baxter, Erica Pellegrino, Melissa Huckins and Ilene Tillman.
