He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Pickul and Rose Pickul (Fioretti); and his siblings-in-law, John P. "Jack" Garvey and Mary Ellen Garvey. He is survived by: his wife Catherine G. Pickul (Garvey); his children, Carl M. Pickul (Kristen) of Hudson, FL, Angela M. Pickul (Angelo Denehy) and Mick Burns of Sandisfield; his grandchildren, Joseph McClain (Maghan), Jacqueline and Jeremy Pickul; his great grandchildren, Joseph Daniel McClain, Jr. and Kaleb Henry Bruso; his brothers, Philip Pickul of Springfield and Joseph Pickul of Montague; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Garvey (Patricia) of Chicopee and Margaret "Peggy" Garvey of Chicopee. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Sacred Heart Church Renovation Fund, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
