She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Carvalho and Joaoquina Carvalho (Ferreira); her former husband Joao Carvalho; her husband Jose Pereira; her children, Jose Alberto and Delmira Fernandes; and her siblings, Manuel Carvalho, Joaquim Carvalho, Jose Carvalho, Antonio Carvalho, Ana Leal, Carolina Inacio and Maria Ferreira.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos Carvalho (Irene) of Chicopee, Martinho Carvalho of Ludlow, Noel Carvalho (Beth) of Chicopee, Luis Carvalho (Fatima) of Chicopee, Maria Irene Marques (John) of Chicopee, Mariete Ribeiro (Antonio) of Chicopee and Paula Carvalho of Chicopee; and her sisters-in-law, Rosa Carvalho and Joaquina Vicente of Portugal. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
