He was predeceased by: his siblings-in-law, Chester and Shirley Bascom; his aunts, Dorothy Pascoe and Ruth; and his uncle Andrew Kavanaugh.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Bascom; his children, Janice Ewing (late Raymond), John Allen (Barbara) and Judith Lefebvre (Neal); his grandchildren, Carri Reitz (Paul), Gregg Ewing (Jennee), Catherine Lishnak-Allen (Valarie), Christie Chavarria (Miguel), Amanda Sanborn (Peter) and Brittany Kessell (Brian); his great grandchildren, Shellby and Pennelope Ewing; his uncle Juan Pascoe; his cousin Kathleen Kavanaugh; his niece Darlene Jeffords; and his nephew David Bascom.
