It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald L. LaCroix of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 20, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo J. LaCroix and Cecile P. LaCroix (Boucher); his wife Catherine C. "Cathy" LaCroix (Hardaker); and his siblings, William "Bill" LaCroix and Elaine Hamelin (Gerald).
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa A. McGrath (John), Linda M. Rentsch (Jeff) of Northampton and Kathleen C. Hein (David) of Palmer; his grandchildren, Courtney A. McGrath, Zachary M. McGrath, Tristan A. Rentsch, Alyssa C. Hein and Nicolas L. Hein; and his sisters-in-law, Claire LaCroix of Chicopee, Carol Devine of Clever, MO and Jeanne M. Lamothe of Chicopee. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and numerous friends.
