It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald C Cove of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles T. and Mary F. Cove (Lydon); his wife Barbara A. Cove (Fontaine); and his brothers, Thomas A. Cove and Charles E. Cove.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher A. Cove (Joy) of Longmeadow and Caryn Malloy (Mark) of Arlington; his grandchildren, Ryan, John Charles, Harry and Gerald; and his brother-in-law William "Bill" Fontaine (Elizabeth). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Gerry was a voracious reader, in lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made in name of Gerald Cove to the Chicopee Public Library, 449 Front St. Chicopee, MA 01013.
