George E. Manioudakis Obituary
The memory of George E. Manioudakis of Chicopee, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 5, 2024 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evangelos Manioudakis and Despina Manioudakis (Antonovardake); his siblings, Constantine "Costa" Manioudakis and Vasileke "Bessie" Metzidakis (Harry "Bob"); and his brother-in-law Frank Hoffman.
He is survived by: his wife Constance Manioudakis (Kintgios); his sons, Angelo G. Manioudakis (Melani Cammett) of Boston and Stephen G. Manioudakis (Kim) of Belchertown; his grandchildren, Alexandros, Lennie, Nikos, Evan and Cooper Manioudakis; his sister Calliope Hoffman of Longmeadow; and his siblings-in-law, Nicholas Kintgios (Yvonne) of Springfield and Efstathia Fisher (John) of Somers, CT. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phaneuf Springfield Chapels (7 Chapin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01107). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Saint George Greek Orthodox Cathedral (2320 Main St, Springfield, MA 01107).
His family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Cretan Association Scholarship Fund, 35 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
