He is survived by: his parent Pearl Mahar (Sherman); his children, Frederick W. Mahar Jr of Chicopee, Paul Mahar (Brenda) of Chicopee, Missy Mahar of Westfield, Kim Ratelle of Chicopee and Roe Rattelle of Holyoke; his siblings, Richard Mahar of West Springfield, Gary Mahar (Gail) of Springfield, David Mahar of Chicopee and Kathy Baurer (Chris) of Las Vegas; and his former wife Laurie Mahar (Bernier) of South Hadley.
