He is survived by: his children, Carol A. Arends (Randolph) of Hillsborough, NJ, Thomas A. Ruta (Lorraine) of Northampton and Michael J. Ruta (Kristen) of North Dighton; his grandchildren, Valerie S. Bache (Justin) of Somerville, NJ, Randolph Arends, Jr. (Rebecca) of Spotswood, NJ, Jacob Ruta (Sophie) of Rochester, NY, Stephanie Ruta (Andrew) of Seekonk and Jason Ruta of North Dighton; his great grandchild Cody Bache; and his godson Randolph Kolodziej of Uxbridge. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
