He was predeceased by: his parents, Boleslaw Sawicki and Mulvina Sawicki (Buynicki); and his siblings, Stella, Lena, Helen, Steve and Kasimer.

He is survived by: his spouse Helen Sawicki (Topor); his daughters, Melanie Anas of Chicopee and Nancy Canevari (Andrew) of Villages, FL; his granddaughters, Jennifer Johnson (Donald) and Monique Goldschmidt (Christopher); and his great grandchildren, Claire, Lauren, Courtney and Tate. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
