He was predeceased by: his parent Francis; and his sister Sylvia. He is survived by: his wife Eva (Shelley); his daughters, Margery and Mary Ellen; his siblings, Carl, Barbara and Katherine; his sons-in-law, Stephen and Kevin; and his grandchildren, Alexandra, Gwenyth, David and Ethan. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
After the tornado of 1979 destroyed their home, the Salvation Army provided assistance to Francis and Eva, establishing the organization as Francis's favorite charity.
