Francis D. Abad Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis D. Abad of Chicopee, Massachusetts, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on March 11, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Satornino Abad and Kathleen Abad (Roper); and his wife Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Abad (Brennan). He is survived by: his children, Sean Abad (Betty), Brian Abad (Donna) of Chicopee, Francis F. Abad of Longmeadow, Paul Abad (Karen), David Abad (Susan) of East Longmeadow and Eileen Garvey (Richard) of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Shannon Messier, Kimberly Bourque, Kyle Abad, Megan, Daniel, Caroline, David Abad, Devin Abad, Ryan Garvey, Kelsey Plotnikiewicz, Frankie Abad, Brendan Abad, Connor Abad and Patrick Abad; and his sister-in-law Joan Murphy (Kevin) of Victoria, BC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
