He was predeceased by: his parents, Raoul E. Chartier and Bernadette Chartier (Masse); and his siblings, Rene, Robert Chartier, Laurette Storczuk and Evelyn Kaeble.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne R. "Sue" Chartier (Gagnon); his children, Deborah Lussier, Mark, Debra Chartier, Patty Chartier Foley, Eugene Chartier, Jr. and Cheryll Keefe; and his stepchildren, Kevin LaRocque and Karen Abramson. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, his family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
