He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Mitera and Caroline Mitera (Herchel). He is survived by: his wife Teresa Mitera (Gennusa); his children, Michael D. Mitera (Theresa) of Holyoke, Frank J. Mitera (Janet) of Belchertown and Carolanne Mitera of Wallingford, CT; his sister Jane Mitera of Agawam; and his grandchildren, Joshua, Christine, Jennifer, Kimberly, Matthew and Andrew.
